Swashbuckling Zorro extends into the New Year

Zorro

Based on the exciting stories by pulp fiction writer Johnston McCulley and featuring a sizzling score by the legendary Gypsy Kings, the hit musical Zorro is extending its run at The Garrick until September 2009

This huge extension is testament to the fact that since the new musical opened in July it has been a huge success with audiences and critics alike. Written by Stephen Clark, the musical focusses on the double life of Diego de la Vega as he returns to America to avenge the murder of his father Alejandro.

Featuring sterling performances from Matt Rawle ('Diego/Zorro'), Emma Williams ('Luisa') and Lesli Margherita ('Inez'), Zorro has electrified audiences with its swashbuckling adventure and heartfelt romance. What's more, the success of Zorro has sparked rumours about possible versions popping up in Tokyo and Sydney in 2010.
