X Factor Joe to Star in West End?

X Factor winner Joe McElderry is already planning his career in musical theatre.

Narrowly missing out on the Christmas number one thanks to Rage Against The Machine, his debut single The Climb managed to hit the top spot afterwards. However, it appears that Joe is already thinking about a life after pop.

According to Neil Sean in today's Metro, McElderry has announced: "Ideally I hope to move into musicals at some point - I love all types of shows like that."
