West End Live 2008
Leicester Square is gearing up for the musical extravaganza of the year. Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June will see the famous London landmark transformed in to a West End stage.
Leicester Square will be buzzing with excitement at the end of this month when some of the West End's biggest shows perform for FREE as part of this years West End Live event. A whole host of performances from a number of musical acts and shows as well as interactive displays and exhibits are sure to make this a London weekend like no other. I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here winner Christopher Biggins will act as compere and the Society of London Theatre will be erecting their very own theatrical pavilion to help celebrate 100 years of London theatre.
This lively event is the perfect excuse to make the most of the capital's entertainment. Activities are designed with families in mind and there will be plenty of opportunities to get involved in the events, from making your own cartoons to watching exclusive trailers of the latest summer blockbusters and of course enjoying performances from your favourite West End casts.
