The Hunt For Dorothy Begins

Published on 22 March 2010 by Kelly Pentland

Andrew Lloyd Webber's latest casting show Over The Rainbow will premiere on BBC One at 9pm, Friday 26 March.

Over

Lord Lloyd Webber will team up once again with host Graham Norton in search for the perfect Dorothy to star in the upcoming Wizard of Oz stage musical.

Talented performers, longing to wear those famous red shoes on the big stage, will battle it out to impress the Over The Rainbow judges, singer Charlotte Church, EastEnders stars John Partridge and legendary actress Sheila Hancock, as well as the Lord himself.

Over The Rainbow follows on from the success of Lloyd Webber's previous talent searches, How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, Any Dream Will Do and I'd Do Anything which catapulted Connie Fisher, Lee Mead and Jodie Prenger to West End fame.

Show and Stay will be live Tweeting every Saturday during the TV show's duration, so feel free to tell us who your favourites are. What's more keep an eye out for weekly blogs about Over The Rainbow

Book tickets for the Wizard of Oz with Show and Stay when they go on sale and be one of the first to see the nation's Dorothy live on stage.
