Sound of Music Extension

The West End smash, The Sound of Music has announced an extension on it's booking period and is now taking bookings until 18th October 2008.

The Sound of Music stars Connie Fisher as Maria who will continue in her role until 23rd February 2008 for six performances a week. Aofie Mulholland plays Maria on Monday evenings and Wednesday matinees. Connie Fisher is confirmed in the role until 23rd February 2008 after which it is expected that Summer Strallen will take over the role though this has yet to be confirmed - remember to check back with us for updates.

This musical revival follows friendly nun Maria who is sent to look after the troublesome offspring of Captain Von Trapp only to fall in love with the Captain after teaching the family the joy of music and singing. However, with the Nazi's taking command of Austria the Captain is called back into service and the family must flee to Switzerland. The Sound of Music is a wonderfully uplifting musical that's entertainment for all the family.
