Olivier Awards Live On Radio

For the first time, the prestigious Laurence Olivier Awards will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 2.
There will be a special two-hour programme from 8pm to 10pm on Sunday 21 March, live from the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
New plays and revivals of classics lead the pack in the nominations for the 2010 awards. Lucy Prebbles Enron and Jez Butterworths Jerusalem have six nominations each and an unprecedented six productions have been nominated for the Best Revival category including Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Misanthrope and A Streetcar Named Desire.
Oliver! is fighting it out against A Little Night Music (now on Broadway), Hello Dolly! and Annie Get Your Gun for Best Musical Revival, while Sister Act the musical and Priscilla Queen of the Desert are up against each other in the Best New Musical category.
