New Madame Morrible for Wicked

Susie Blake as Madam Morrible

Wicked is set to have a brand new Madame Morrible from 14th April when Harriet Thorpe replaces Susie Blake (pictured) in the West End role.

A familiar face from both TV and the West End, Harriet Thorpe is to replace Susie Blake in the role of Wicked's Madame Morrible. She will take over the character from 14th April joining Nigel Planer, Kerry Ellis and Oliver Tompsett in the popular London show.

Thorpe is no stranger to the West End stage having appeared in top productions including Cabaret, Twelfth Night and All My Sons. The talented actress is also well known for her comical portrayal in the BBC series The Brittas Empire where she played the rather erratic Carole Parkinson. Other notable television performances include appearances in French and Saunders, Absolutely Fabulous and The Life and Times of Vivienne Vyle.

Wicked is the prequel to the Wizard of Oz, telling the magical story of the witches of Oz and how Glinda the Good Witch of the North and Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West were once friends. This spell binding production is perfect entertainment for the whole family and one of the most popular West End musicals to date.
