Never Forget Launches in London

Never Forget, a new musical based on the songs of ninties boy band Take That, was performed this week at a special event in London to help launch the West End run of shows, which starts at the Savoy on 21st of May.

Four of the five cast, Dean Chisnall, Stephane Anelli, Tim Driesen and Eaton James performed a few songs from the musical before being joined on stage by a childrens choir to end the show with the title track, Never Forget. Unfortunately the fifth member, Craig Els was unable to attend the launch event.

The musical, set in Manchester, tells the tale of a Take That tribute band and is written by Danny Brocklehurst with additional material by Guy Jones and Ed Curtis, and choreography from Karen Bruce. Featuring hit songs from the Take That back catalogue the show is billed as a 'feelgood comedy about love, friendship, ambition and betrayal'.

The four remaining members of the real Take That are no longer involved with the show due to their own recent resurgence in popularity, despite being very much involved at the shows beginning.

Never Forget opens at the Savoy on 21st May, after previews from 7th May and will be booking until 25th October 2008. Book tickets for Never Forget today.
