Cast and Dates Confirmed for Love Never Dies

Dates and casting details for the long-awaited sequel to Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera London have been announced.
Lloyd Webber has stated that the production, entitled Love Never Dies the musical, will open at the West End's Adelphi Theatre on 9 March, 2010 with previews from 20 February, 2010.
Ramin Karimloo will take to the stage once again as The Phantom, a role he has also played in the first installment of the Phantom saga. Sierra Boggess will appear as Christine Daaé, a role she played in the Las Vegas run of The Phantom of the Opera.
Hollyoaks actress turned West End star, Summer Strallen, will perform the part of Meg Giry. The casting of Raoul and Madame Giry has yet to be announced
Following the London opening, the show will open in New York on 11 November, 2010 and in Australia in 2011.
Set in 1907, the sequel continues the story of Christine Daaé 10 years after the Phantom disappeared from the Paris Opera House. A story of obsession and intrigue, Christine moves to New York to perform at a new attraction at Coney Island.
The production will be directed by Jack O'Brien with lyrics by Glenn Slater, music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and a book by Lloyd Webber and Ben Elton.
A cast recording featuring the performers who will open the show in London will be released the day after the production's West End premiere, 10 March, 2010.
The original Phantom of the Opera has grossed more than $5 billion worldwide, having been produced in 149 cities in more than 25 countries since it first opened in the West End in 1986.
