Love Ain't Here Anymore at the Savoy

Never Forget

Never Forget will be upping sticks to the Lyric Theatre on November 20th 2008. The musical had its premier in Cardiff in July 2007 and the short UK tour that followed received glowing reviews, with Never Forget being nominated for the WOS theatre award for best touring production in 2007.

The massively popular show charts the rise of a Take That tribute band from young hopefuls to stars. Drawing on all of the classic Take That tracks, the show is a poignant tail of love, friendship and the corrupting influence of fame.

Never Forget went on a six city tour earlier this year, starting in March at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley. The show is currently appearing at the Savoy Theatre, but will soon have to make way for the revival production of Carousel. This doesn’t spell the end for the Take That jukebox musical though. In July it was announced that the show will be transferred to the Lyric theatre. Never Forget’s days as a touring musical appear to be over as the transfer is described as being “permanent.”

The final performance of Never Forget at the Savoy Theatre will be on November 15th 2008. The show reopens at the Lyric Theatre on November 20th 2008.
