West End star Kerry Ellis is to reproduce her award-winning performance of green skinned witch Elphaba, in the Broadway version of the hugely popular London show Wicked.

Kerry Ellis, who was recently awarded the Theatregoers' Choice Award for Best Takeover in a Role is to perform in the Broadway version of the magical show Wicked from 17th June 2008. The talented actress is due to leave the West End show on 7th June to tread the boards on Broadway. Ellis who took the role of Elphaba from Broadway actress Indina Menzel, will perform at the Gershwin Theatre for several weeks before returning to the London show by the end of the year.

Wicked is the spellbinding and spectacular hit musical, revealing the untold story of the legendary witches of Oz, Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch of the North and how they were once friends. This London show is a must see, perfect family entertainment and ideal for anyone that loved the Wizard of Oz.
