Jodie Is Going To RADA

Jodie Prenger

Winner of BBC's I'd Do Anything, Jodie Prenger, is brushing up on her acting skills at RADA before she takes to the stage as Nancy in the new Oliver! revival.

Prenger, who Andrew Lloyd Webber described as "the people's Nancy" won the role and the nation's hearts with stunning renditions of Dolly Parton's "9 to 5", Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out for a Hero" and Dusty Springfield's "Son of a Preacher Man" among others.

Primarily a singer, it's rumoured that Prenger to attend RADA to really polish her performance and make it as best as it can be. If Prenger's prodigious vocal ability is anything to go by, her acting will be up to Cameron Mackintosh's high standards in no time.

Rehearsals for Oliver! begin in October, the show opens on 14th January 2009. With the professionals at RADA behind Prenger she is sure to realise her full potential in record time. After all RADA is a school which trained the likes of Ralph Fiennes, Alan Rickman and Sir Anthony Hopkins.
