Popular Disney musical High School Musical has begun its term in London with the first lesson a healthy dose of West End magic.

You'll need to get in quick if you want a chance to see your favourite characters re-enacting the popular television movie. Playing at the London Hammersmith Apollo, High School Musical will perform just a short run to London audiences with closing notices for 2nd August.

Although a relatively unknown cast, Letitia Dean, better known for her role as Sharon Watts in BBC1 series EastEnders, takes the part of high school teacher Ms Darbus.

High School Musical Live On Stage is the musical version of the popular television movie that created a legion of fans worldwide. For those who don't know the story, High School Musical as its name suggests is set in high school, East High. Troy is the captain of the basketball team and incredibly popular, Gabriella a new student is a brainiac. When they both make the decision to audition for the high school musical the rest of the school have different ideas.
