New Cast Announced for High School Musical's Summer Term

High School Musical

Disney's High School Musical has been successfully touring the country for the past few months and is due to open in the West End with an entirely revamped class of performers this July

Last month Show and Stay® reported that ex-EastEnder Letitia Dean was set to take the role of 'Ms Darbus' when the musical hits the Hammersmith Apollo for its West End Run. We can now reveal the other cast members that will play alongside her...

Lead role 'Troy Bolton' will be played by Mark Evans whilst, opposite, 'Gabriella Montez' will be played by Claire-Marie Hall. 'Sharpay' and 'Ryan Evans' will be played by Rebecca Faulkenberry and Michael Pickering respectively and Damian Winter-Higgins and Dylan Turner are set for the roles of 'Chad' and 'Zeke'. 'Taylor' will be played by Nadine Higgin and 'Coach Bolton' will be played by Norman Bowman.

A modern re-telling of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, High School Musical has taken the world quite literally by storm since the Disney Movie first aired on US television two years ago. Producing a movie sequel and a string of touring stage shows, High School Musical makes its West End debut on 5th July this year.

We think it's going to be a huge smash so book your tickets early if you want to see it this summer. Until July then, it seems like school is most definitely out!
