Go Grease Lightnin'

Top West End musical Grease has announced an extension of 7 months, with tickets now on sale until 10th June 2009.

Successful since its opening night in August 2007, Grease continues to wow audiences with TV reality stars Danny Bayne and Susan McFadden (pictured) boosting ticket sales. Winners of the reality talent search programme Grease is the Word, the two talented actors proved they were the ones that you wanted with fans coming from near and far to see the two perform in the iconic roles of Danny and Sandy, made famous by John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

For those who are unsure of the plot, Grease is set at American high school Rydell High, where the students are focussed on fun and each other and are determined to make their last year one to remember! New girl Sandy and resident lovable rogue Danny had a Summer of love but now that fate has thrown them back together can they rekindle the flame? After all Danny has a reputation to think of and Sandy is simply too sweet for a T Bird.

True to the 1978 film and bursting with energy and light hearted humour this London musical is a great show to see with friends and is ideal for fans of the original movie. You can book tickets as part of a London theatre break with Show and Stay.
