Coming to the Imperial War Museum this April, For Your Eyes Only will display the impressive life and works of Ian Fleming and is available to book today with Show and Stay.

Marking the centenary of Ian Fleming's birth, For Your Eyes Only celebrates the world renowned author, delving into the facts and fiction behind his iconic character James Bond and casting a detailed eye at Fleming's work as a journalist and travel writer.

The exhibition at one of London's most famous and fascinating museums will display an array of materials, from a map of the Mercury News Network that Fleming created to show the bases for all the Sunday Times' foreign correspondents to the Daniel Craig's blood stained shirt from the recent James Bond film Casino Royale. Prototypes of Rosa Klebb's flick knife shoes from From Russia With Love and Halle Berry's bikini from Die Another Day will be display along with a selection of Bond manuscripts and the Colt Python .357 Magnum revolver that Fleming was presented from the Colt company in 1964.

Ian Flemming was born on May 28th 1908, he wrote a total of 12 novels and 9 short stories chronicling the adventures of James Bond along with the well known and loved Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and 2 non-fiction books. For Your Eyes Only will examine Fleming's past and the legacy that he's left behind.
