Fatal Attraction Coming To West End

Iconic Hollywood thriller, Fatal Attraction, is to be adapted for the West End stage.
The chilling story of a married father's short-lived affair which sparks a horrifying stalking campaign by his jilted lover was originally released in 1987, starring Michael Douglas and Glenn Close.
The stage adaptation, created by the film's original writer James Dearden, is scheduled to open at an unconfirmed London theatre in 2011.
Some changes are being made to the plot; Alex Forrest is no longer a demented stalker and will now be portrayed as more of a gloomy loner and the show will be set in the present day. Despite the sanitation of the film's original plot, the iconic bunny boiling scene will remain in the stage version.
Speaking to the Sunday Times about the legendarily gruesome leporine murder scene, Dearden said: "Without it, the audience might demand their money back".
