Following a sold-out run in the West End, the Donmar Warehouse production of Hamlet is transferring to Broadway.
Directed by Michael Grandage, Shakespeare's tragedy will be at the Broadhurst Theatre for strictly limited 12 week run.
After winning stellar reviews from theatre critics the world over for his portrayal of the melancholy Dane, award-winning actor Jude Law will remain in the lead role for the performances from 12 September-6 October.
Previous Donmar Warehouse shows in New York include the Tony Award-winning productions of Cabaret, Take Me Out, The Real Thing, Frost/Nixon and Mary Stuart, which is currently playing at the Broadhurst.
