Dirty Dancing on Children In Need

This year Children In Need returns to BBC One on Friday 16 November at 7pm with a staggering array of entertainment acts to raise money for disadvantaged children and young people across the country with something special for all fans of Dirty Dancing.

At 10.40pm the second half of Children In Need will be opened by the Dirty Dancing company, giving the first UK telivised performance of (I've Had) The Time Of My Life! A performance not to be missed. Other acts on the evening will include performances from the Spice Girls, John Barrowman, Kylie Minogue along with the cast of EastEnders, a one-off Junior Dragon's Den and a special edition of the hit series Doctor Who.

Dirty Dancing follows teenager Frances 'Baby' Houseman on her family holiday at Kellerman's holiday camp. Sit back and enjoy the romance as she falls in love with the streetwise dance teacher from the wrong side of the tracks. Eleanor Bergstein decided on the music for the film before she wrote the story and the music of the blockbuster film has been re-mastered for this uplifting West End producion.
