Sarah Soetaert Returns to Chicago in Cast Re-Vamp

From 28th April Sarah Soetaert will reprise her steamy performance as the irrepressible Roxie Hart in the sassy, jazz-tinged musical Chicago

Soeteart was originally cast in the role for the Autumn run last year. Though her stint was relatively brief, she obviously made quite an impression on the directors at the Cambridge Theatre because they have decided to recall her to spearhead their spring cast. Taking over from Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Soetaert is booked to grace the boards until the end of May. Ex Hearsay member Suzanne Shaw is then due to lead the show through the summer season.

The sexy prohibition-era musical now stands as the longest running Broadway musical in the West End. Brimming with classy set pieces, elegant arrangements and stunning numbers like All That Jazz and Razzle Dazzle, Chicago is certainly the hottest show on the block. And, now with Soetaert at the helm, it's set to raise pulses that little bit higher.
