Sarah Lark, a runner up in the BBC show will be the understudy for both actresses.
Other cast announcements include Julius D'Silva as Mr Bumble and Wendy Furguson as Widow Corney. They join Rowan Atkinson (who will play Fagan) and Burn Gorman in his portrayal of Bill Sikes.
This rendition of the classic musical is based on Sam Mendes's 1994 staging at the London Palladium and is directed by Rupert Goold whose previous credits include Macbeth.
Based on Charles Dickens's timeless novel, Oliver Twist, Oliver! follows the young orphan protagonist as he travels through the dark, crime ridden world of 19th Century London. The musical score accompanying the show includes the incredibly catchy numbers, Food Glorious Food, Consider Yourself and I'd Do Anything.
Oliver! is playing at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane from 12 December with a press night on 14 January.
