Blood Brothers Gets Transfusion
Niki Evans, a runner-up in the 2007 series of ITV's X-factor, is to join the cast of Blood Brothers, the phenomenally popular West End musical written by Willy Russell. Evans will play the role of 'Mrs Johnstone' from the 3rd November 2008 at the Phoenix Theatre.
Evans will make her debut in the Birmingham production of Blood Brothers on the 20th October 2008. She will perform at the Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre for two weeks before taking to the West End stage in early November.
Blood Brothers is directed by Bill Kenwright and Bob Tomson, design is by Marty Flood, Rod Edwards is the show's musical director. The long-running musical tells the tale of a pair of Liverpudlian twins who are separated at birth. After the twins are separated they go on to live very different lives but their paths cross later on with explosive results.
Blood Brothers is currently booking at the Phoenix Theatre until may 2009.
