Avenue Q Extends Booking Period
If songs like I'm Not Wearing Underwear,There Is Life Outside Your Apartment or The More You Ruv Someone mean nothing to you then chances are you have yet to witness the hilarious musical Avenue Q. If this is the case then you're in luck as the hit, award winning, West End musical has just extended its booking period at the Noel Coward Theatre until 25 April 2009.
If you can picture a musical Sesame Street style puppets (there is no connection to the Jim Henson creations) deal with adult issues that include sex, drinking and surfing the internet for pornography then you're close to the London production that's been delighting it's audiences at the Noël Coward theatre. This comedic alliance of puppets and humans may not sound particularly suited to all the family, the show isn't suitable for young children, but it certainly makes for a high spirited evening that will have you laughing all the way home and singing along.
The cast currently includes Daniel Boys as Princeton and Rod, Mark Goldthorp as Trekkie Monster and Nicky, Rebecca Lock as Kate Monster and Lucy The Slut, Christopher Fry as Brian, Mary Doherty as Mrs Thisltetwat and Delroy Atkinson as Gary Coleman.
