Avenue Q Cast Changes
Avenue Q - the hilarious, unholy alliance of puppets and humans is set to welcome some new faces as the production announces major cast changes from December 3rd 2007.
Any Dream Will Do finalist Daniel Boys will be joining the cast, taking over the roles of Princeton and Rod. Rebecca Lock will take over the role of Kate Monster and Lucy the Slut with Mark Goldthorp as Trekkie Monster and Nicky. Casting in the role of Christmas Eve will be announced soon. The new comers replace cast members Julie Atherton, Simon Lipkin, Sion Lloyd, Jon Robyns and Jennifer Tanarez who give their final performances on December 1st after 18 months in the musical.
If you can picture a musical where Sesame Street style puppets (there is no connection to the television show) deal with adult issues that include sex, drinking and surfing the internet for pornography then you're close to the London production that's been delighting it's audiences at the Noël Coward theatre. This comedic alliance of puppets and humans may not sound particularly suited to all the family, the show isn't suitable for young children, but it certainly makes for a high spirited evening that will have you laughing all the way home and singing along.
