Aoife Rejoining Chicago Cast
How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? finalist, Aoife Mulholland, is to join the cast of Chicago, reprising the role of 'Roxie' on 3 November, 2008 replacing current Roxie, Kelly Price.
Since it transferred to the West End from Broadway in 1997, Chicago has been a firm favourite with theatre-goers. It ran at the Adelphi Theatre for nine years until transferring to the Cambridge Theatre in April 2006.
Other notable Roxies include Ruthie Henshall, Claire Sweeny, Jennifer Ellison, Denise van Outen and Bonnie Langford. In 2002 a film adaptation of Chicago starring Reñee Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Richard Gere, won the Oscars for 'Best Picture' and Zeta-Jones was awarded "Best Supporting Actress".
Chicago is booking until July 2009 at the Cambridge Theatre.
