Andrew Lloyd Webber's Hollyoaks Debut

The Sound of Music

The king of theatre, Andrew Lloyd Webber, has leapt off his thrown and waltzed into Hollyoaks village to try his hand at acting. What is the reason behind his royal visit you may ask? Well Webber is blurring fact with fiction, his plot will see the wannabe star Summer Shaw (actress Summer Strallen) begging his royal theatre-ness for an audition. Keen theatre buffs will already know that Summer is granted an audition and is successful, as in reality she is set to take over from The Sound of Music's Connie Fisher in February.

Strallen is no stranger to the bright lights of the West End as she's previously been in the 1940's hit comedy The Drowsy Chaperone and family favorite Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. So if you fancy seeing the Hollyoaks star in the West End, book The Sound of Music today with Show and Stay.

For those of you not lucky enough to catch Webber's debut on small screen last night, do not panic as he is set to appear in this popular teenage soap until friday - when Summer gets her big break.
