The 39 Steps Plods on and up for Another Year
As The 39 Steps prepares to celebrate its second birthday, Show and Stay® are pleased to announce that their booking period has been extended to September 6th, 2009.
Celebrating its second birthday this month, Patrick Barlowe's comic version of John Buchan's classic thriller, The 39 Steps will celebrate by putting another 140,000 tickets on sale.
Directed by Maria Aitken, this award-winning production is famed for containing every single scene from the legendary Hitchcock film. The chase on the Flying Scotsman, the escape on the Forth Bridge and even the breath-taking plane crash, it's all recreated live on stage!
A real skeleton crew production, The 39 Steps has four cast members that play over 150 roles. A really exciting adventure with some hilarious set pieces, this West End stage-show is one of the most popular new shows of the last few years.
The chaps behind the show have also taken this celebratory period to announce that Tessa Churchyard will be joining the cast. Famous for her turns in Blithe Spirit at the Watford Palace and Remember This at the National, Tessa has also appeared on television in Jeeves and Wooster and Doctors.
The 39 Steps is a fantastic comic twist on the spy genre and has received some pretty sterling reviews from audiences and critics alike. If you would like to see this great show book your tickets for The 39 Steps as part of one of our theatre breaks and really make a night of it!
