Choreographed by Michael Corder, this beloved winter fairytale tells the story of Gerda and her quest to find her lost friend, Kay. The malevolent Snow Queen has Kay under her spell and Gerda must undertake a long and perilous quest to save her friend. Only Gerda's love can release Kay from the spell and lift the Snow Queen's curse of eternal winter.
The icy court of the Snow Queen is brought to life with stunning sets and dazzling crisp white costumes studded with glittering crystals. Sergei Prokofiev's music interlaces beautifully with the dancers' breathtaking performance and the effect of the two combined is as refreshing as a winter's breeze.
