The Ladykillers theatre breaks

Show synopsis

An exciting adaptation of the 1955 movie of the same name, The Ladykillers tells the story of Mrs Wilberforce, an eccentric old widow who lives alone in a subsiding house in King's Cross. When a gang of misfit criminals claiming to be a string quartet ask to rent some rooms from her to 'rehearse', the dear old lady gets more than she bargained for.

Convincingly disguised and after extensive planning at Mrs Wilberforce's house, Professor Marcus and his villainous crew manage to pull off a successful heist. What they were't planning on was Mrs Wilberforce discovering their crime at the last minute. Determined to ensure the old busybody's silence, the criminals decide to do away with her. But when your co-conspirators are criminals and there's a fortune at stake, nothing's easy.

The Ladykillers reviews

Show and Stay review

The madcap ending doesn’t disappoint, and for sheer comic exuberance The Ladykillers is hard to beat.

Audiences will relish the rapid-fire banter and inventive slapstick of this deliciously dark story that makes a hugely enjoyable night in the West End. » Read the full review
