The Architecture of The Duke of York's Theatre

A Grade II listed building, the Duke of York's Theatre was designed by Walter Emden and remains one of the most statuesque theatres in London. Ivory and grey in colour with windows adorning every available inch of the street facing exterior, this theatre has a regal air in keeping with it's royal name.

The decadent interior is a gentle reminder of the era in which this theatre was constructed. Rich golds and deep reds swathe the auditorium combining Georgian and Victorian styles to create an ambience of warmth and luxury.
