What to expect
Audiences can expect a fun, high energy show with a terrific performance from leading lady Patina Miller as Delores.
Synopsis
When glamorous disco diva Delores Van Cartier sees a murder she is placed under witness protection in the one place the police are certain she won't be found — a convent.
Delores begins to use her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the convent's choir and she breathes new life into the church and community. Unfortunately, her good work does not go unnoticed, and her cover is blown. However, the bad guys don't bargain for Delores' bravery and the power of her friendship with her new 'sisters'.
Sensational actress Whoopi Goldberg will be taking over the role of Mother Superior from 10 to 31 August. The legendary performer will not be appearing 16 or 23 August, so if you are a Whoppi fan please book your dates carefully.
