Five hundred twenty-five thousand six hundred minutes. How do you measure, measure a year? In daylights, in sunsets, in midnights, in cups of coffee. In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife.

Based on Puccini’s La Boheme, the hit musical RENT broke convention when it first opened. RENT follows a group of young talented artists as they struggle to fulfill their aspirations against the tide of grim reality.
RENT tackles an number of issues that were considered taboo for the release period, highlighting gay, lesbian and bisexual relationships, the widespread diseases HIV and AIDs and their fatal impact on the human body and mind. Rent takes it's audience on a rollercoaster ride of emotions, journey with them as they experience love, friendship, betrayal, life and death.
William Baker's 21st century version of this Broadway classic has been adapted to excite and entertain a modern audience, featuring electric guitar rifts and digital landscapes. The script itself has also been updated to reflect medical advances and the british cast.

Jonathan Larson's RENT has been re-orchastrated and reworked in order to amaze and astound today's theatre audience. The iconic groundbreaking musical has transformed itself, leaving behind it's 90's rock culture roots to take on a 21st century pop club culture and match the tempo of a new generation.
