Book your ticket and hotel package for the Vaudeville Theatre's production of Private Lives starring Kim Cattrall and Matthew Macfadyen.
Famous for playing Samantha in Sex and the City, Kim Cattrall will appear alongside Spooks star Matthew Macfadyen in the Vaudeville theatre's production of Noel Coward's Private Lives.
First performed in 1930, Private Lives is a hilarious comedy of manners that, in its initial cast, starred Laurence Olivier, Gertrude Lawrence, Adrianne Allen and Noel Coward himself. Transferring to Broadway the following year, the play has been popular on both sides of the Atlantic since ti was written.
The action takes place in a hotel in Deauville where newly weds Elyot and Sybil are enjoying their honeymoon. Their post-nuptual idyll starts to go awry when Elyot realises he is staying in the same hotel as his ex-wife Amanda, who is currently there enjoying her honeymoon with new husband Victor.
The stage is set for a rather hostile showdown. And thanks to Coward's excellent wit and lyricism, laughs are never too far between in this fantastically-scripted gem. Book now.
