Wicked... what's it all about?
Wicked is the untold story of the witches of Oz. Based on the book by Gregory Maguire, Wicked provides a back story to the Good Witch of the North and the Wicked Witch of the West from L. Frank Baum's children's classic The Wizard of Oz. The spectacular show uses fantastic song and dance routines and spectacular effects to tell the story of the two girl's friendship at sorcery school and how one grows up to be known as good and and one as wicked.
Wicked first opened on Broadway on 30th October 2003 and quickly grew in popularity, earning ten Tony Award nominations and winning three. The show opened in the West End on September 27th 2006 and was an instant hit - still going strong now!
