New London Theatre

The New London Theatre opened on January 2nd 1973 with a production of The Unknown Soldier and his Wife starring Peter Ustinov with the the unknown Richard Gere starring in Grease later that same year. Along with being home to Cats for it's 21 year run the theatre also housed the 1977 BBC Sports Personality of the Year during it's three years as a television studio.

The New London Theatre is air conditioned throughout. Guide dogs are permitted within the theatre but not inside the auditorium, with prior arrangement staff can watch your dog during a performance. For those hard of hearing, Infra-red headsets are available on request.
