Messiah

Show synopsis

Originally composed in the summer of 1741 and premiered one year later in Dublin, Messiah is one of Handel's most famous works of all time.

A presentation of Jesus's life, Messiah is divided into three parts- each one addressing specific events in the life of Christ. Part one covers Advent and Christmas stories, part two documents the passion, resurrection, ascension and evangelisation of the Christian message, while the final part discusses the events of The Book of Revelation.

Messiah features an award winning ensemble.
