New cast for West End’s Wicked

The new cast of West End hit Wicked has been announced.
The coveted role of Glinda will be played by Gina Beck, who is perhaps best-known for her 2008 turn as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera. Beck will be joined on stage by Rachel Tucker, who will remain in the role of Elphaba.
Matt Willis, the former Busted singer, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here contestant and star of the West End adaptation of Flashdance, will play Fiyero.
Also joining the cast are Lillie Flynn as Nessarose, Christopher Howell as Doctor Dillamond and Andrew Pettigrew as Boq. Desmond Burns will re-join the Wicked cast as The Wizard following his successful performance in the Theatre Royal Bath’s production of Henry IV.
