Celebs Nominated For Evening Standard Theatre Awards

A host of celebrity names feature as nominees on this year’s Evening Standard Theatre Awards longlist.

Benedict Cumberbatch and David Suchet are up for Best Actor for their performances in After The Dance and All My Sons respectively. Nominees for the Natasha Richardson Award For Best Actress include Judi Dench for her performance in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Kingston’s Rose Theatre, Keira Knightley for her controversial turn in the Comedy Theatre’s production of The Misanthrope, and Sheridan Smith for her portrayal of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde The Musical.

The longlist will be parred down to a shortlist and published on 21 November with the winners being named at a ceremony on 28 November.
