Sweet Charity To Close

Hit musical Sweet Charity will end its West End run on 6 November 2010 following a successful six month spell at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.

Tamzin Outhwaite in Sweet Charity

The show, which transferred from the Menier Chocolate Factory earlier this year, has received rave reviews since it opened with Tamzin Outhwaite dazzling in the title role.

Directed by Matthew White, Sweet Charity is the tale of unlucky-in-love Charity Hope Valentine. Featuring music by Cy Coleman and lyrics by Dorothy Fields, the musical has one of the best scores around including songs such as Hey Big Spender, If My Friends Could See Me Now and The Rhythm Of Life.

Sweet Charity was initially due to run until January 2011 but will now close a few months early. It has not yet been confirmed which show will take its place.

Book a Sweet Charity theatre break today and enjoy this wonderful all-singing, all-dancing production before it leaves Theatreland.
