So, what’s been going on for the wacky Ms Boyle since her jaw-dropping performance on Britain’s Got Talent? Well firstly, she’s now a YouTube sensation, up there with the dramatic chipmunk, sneezing panda and daft fingers (but obviously a bit more talented). She’s a trending topic on Twitter, she’s all over the papers and rumours are flying all over the place regarding her talks with Simon Cowell’s record label.
A recent appearance on internet news channel STV suggests that Ms Boyle has also had a chat with a stylist. Her curled hair and slightly frumpy frock have been replaced by a more ladylike hairdo and a more flattering outfit (see picture). Not that any of that matters, Ms Boyle’s beliefs regarding focus on personal appearance are almost as heart-warming as her voice.
Recently, Ms Boyle has said she will see Britain’s Got Talent through to the “bitter end” and declared herself “absolutely gobsmacked” at her overnight success. Gobsmacked or not, her success is well-deserved and unless a fire-breathing, snake-charming, unicycling midget violinist enters, I can’t see her not winning.
