The Entertainer Theatre Tickets and Hotel Packages

Ends 12th November 2016

John Osborne's classic play returns to the West End for the finale of Kenneth Branagh's star-studded theatrical season at the Garrick Theatre.

Written at the request of Laurence Olivier, The Entertainer has since become a celebrated work that blends domestic family life with the seedy world of music hall. With the rise of cinema and television in post-war Britain, pitiful music hall performer Archie Rice finds his vaudeville act being replaced by a strip tease routine. Just as much a failure in his home life, Archie is a scornful son, an insensitive father and an unsupportive and unfaithful husband. As Imperial England declines, so does Archie as he finds his on-stage persona and real life starting to merge.

Kenneth Branagh leads the cast as Archie Rice in this black comedy that has become a celebrated classic. Eight years since it was last seen in the West End, The Entertainer is back in a brand new production that's not to be missed.
