Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead Theatre Tickets and Hotel Packages

Starring Daniel Radcliffe (famous on screen as Harry Potter and on stage as the star of Equus in both London and New York), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead is Tom Stoppard’s post-absurdist masterpiece.

Originally little more than the footnoted footmen of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Rosencrantz (Radcliffe) and Guildenstern (Joshua McGuire, perhaps best known as the sidekick in Richard Curtis’s About Time) are thrust to centre-stage as the wandering stars of Stoppard’s reimagined Elsinore.

This hilarious play is in equal parts black comedy, existential musing and one of the sharpest critiques of Shakespeare’s original tragedy ever penned. Stopping along the way to tip the hat to T S Eliot, probability theory and of course Godot, director David Leveaux’s 50th anniversary revival of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead is an unmissable treat for fans of Tom Stoppard, Hamlet, Daniel Radcliffe or classic absurdist theatre.
