One Man, Two Guvnors Theatre Breaks

Winner of Best New Play at the Critics' Circle and Evening Standard Awards

Take a side-splitting trip back to the Brighton of the 60s, a place of glamour, gangsters and gallivanting guvnors. When Francis arrives in town, he's embroiled himself in a plot involving two employers, switched identities and murder before he's even managed to eat a sandwich. Between lifting unspeakably heavy cases and lusting after locals, he'll need to keep both bosses happy and ensure their paths don't cross…

Owain Arthur moves from celebrated understudy to acclaimed leading man in the tour-de-force role made famous by James Corden. I'd Do Anything winner Jodie Prenger continues to carve out a winning West End career with her turn as the alluring Dolly, while numerous scene-stealing performances make this riotous comedy a true ensemble piece.

Richard Bean's uproarious farce has volleyed from the West End to Broadway, and its new London cast are as hilarious as ever. Choose a theatre break with Show & Stay and experience the play described by the Daily Mail as the funniest in the western world.

The first half builds to a crescendo of comic mishaps

Shaking off the shadow of James Corden, former understudy Owain Arthur has Francis’ movements and mannerisms down pat, while his distinctive Welsh accent adds extra comic mileage to an already manic role. He’s faultless when picking a fight with himself and on top form speaking to the stalls.
