A Midsummer Night's Dream Theatre Breaks

Part of the Michael Grandage Company's Season of Five Plays

An enchanted nighttime forest is the setting of Shakespeare's romantic tale of errant love and mistaken identity, now directed by Michael Grandage as part of his astonishing season of five plays starring big names of stage and screen.

Popular TV funnyman David Walliams stars as the hapless Bottom, a weaver and wannabe actor who gets more than he bargained for when he runs across mischievous trickster Puck in the woodland. Servant to the King of the Fairies, this court jester also manages to work his troublemaking magic on mixed-up lovers Theseus, Hippolyta, Hermia and Helena while trying to shame Queen Titania, played by two-time Olivier Award-winner Sheridan Smith (Legally Blonde the Musical, Flare Path).

Michael Grandage has reportedly aimed at bringing us the sexiest Dream ever put on stage, so be sure to see what this unique and unmissable cast do with one of Shakespeare's most purely delightful comedies.
