From inside one of the London Eye capsules you will be guided through the history of London on a 30 minute flight. From Buckingham Palace, St Paul's Cathedral and Nelson's Column to the new Gherkin Building, London is one of the most vibrant and constantly evolving cities in the world. Keep a keen eye out and you will spot famous buildings such as 10 Downing Street nestled amongst London's familiar but striking landscape.
For a different perspective visit at sunset and see the city lights come on and the skyline awash with vibrant colours. Visit the London Eye after dark and you will enjoy the capital's stunning buildings all lit up.
Visitors to the EDF London Eye can also experience what it’s like to soar high like a bird over London’s dramatic skyline at the iconic landmark's pioneering 4D Film Experience.
Already offering unrivalled views of London, the addition of a £5m bespoke cinematic addition to the attraction provides yet another magical and entertaining way to experience our capital city. All included in the ticket price, visitors will see the first ever 3D aerial footage of London as well as witness the world famous London New Year’s Eve fireworks in a breathtaking journey across the city. One of the most recognisable landmarks in London, the EDF London Eye has proved not only stylish in design but popular with visitors to London. Brainchild of David and Julia Barfield, the London Eye is the largest observation wheel in the world. The Eye used 1,700 tonnes of steel, was constructed in just 16 months and the capsules have the ability to carry over 15,000 visitors a day.
The London Eye is the perfect way to view London and some of the city's most famous sights - on a clear day you can see up to 25 miles away in every direction as the glass capsules move you 135 metres above London. The gradual ascent takes approximately 30 minutes.
