The tale of a young lion cub finding his way in the world and his journey to become the King of all lions.
Simba is destined to become the King of the Pridelands much to the envy of his uncle Scar who believes the role of King is his destiny. Scared away by his evil uncle, Simba flees his homeland and embarks upon an African adventure.
With some help from some friends - Rafiki a wise old baboon, Timon the comedic meerkat and his side-kick Pumbaa - a warthog with a very big heart and his best friend Nala, Simba discovers the benefits of friendship and a few of life's lessons.
