One of the youngest finalists, Jessie was asked to sing again for the judges before they made the decision to put her through. Andrew Lloyd Webber wanted to know if a girl as young as Jessie could evoke the maturity and life experience that is required to play Nancy. Obviously Jessie did something right as she has deservedly won a place in the final 12!

Jessie Buckley is from County Kerry in Ireland and has had a passion for performing since she was little. Her first starring role was aged 7 when she performed in a school production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
