Willy Russell's play, Educating Rita is being brought back to the West End stage after a successful run earlier this year.
The play has just two characters - Rita and her tutor Frank - and is set in an open university lecture room. Rita is a hairdresser from a working class background, who decides she wants to go to university to study for an English literature degree.
Her tutor Frank sees her enthusiasm and passion to succeed but also recognises how difficult it is for a working class girl to migrate into the world of the educated middle class.

Educating Rita is an entertaining and extremely fascinating play that manages to discuss social issues while remaining comical and upbeat. » Read the full review
