Dualia and La Leyanda Theatre Breaks

Dualia and Le Leyanda is a fantastic double-bill from the Nacional Ballet de Espana.

This fantastic Spanish double-bill is set to be the talking point of the spring season at the Coliseum. Comprising of two of the Nacional Ballet de Espana's best-loved shows, Dualia and La Leyanda, the Coliseum's flamenco inspired showcase is not to be missed.

Choreographed by the world-renowned Rojo and Rodriguez, the first of the night's performances, Dualia is a striking and skilful ballet that blends the art of ballet with the raw passion of the flamenco guitar.

La Leyanda (or The Legend) is choreographed by the famous Spanish choreographer Jose Antonio. The artistic director of the Nacional Ballet de Espana from 1986 to 1992, Antonio is one of the most respected names in the world of ballet. Inspired by the late flamenco dancer Carmen Amaya, La Leyanda is a sizzling ballet that follows the star from her birth in the slums of Barcelona to her meteoric rise through the heights of the dance world.
