The Criterion Theatre is a Grade II* listed building located on Piccadilly Circus. It was designed by Thomas Verity, the architect responsible for the pavilion at Lords Cricket Ground. Verity had a great interest in the ornate style of French Second Empire architecture. This influence is apparent in the theatre's exquisite Portland stone facade.
